Rare first edition 1856. Missing tissue gaurd for title page. Outer boards and spine are in good condition with expected minor scuffing and wear. Inner pages have some foxing, mainly to the front and the rear of the book. Pages are tight with no loosening and carry 8 illustrations by the author. Gilt edged pages. A decent first edition.
