The leather binding is aged but in very good condition, except that the front board is detached. Titling on the spine is now hard to read. All content present. binding is tight and square with no loose pages or sections. A small amount of light foxing to the prelims. All pages are good throughout. A good scarce first edition.

This volume according to John Ferguson in his "Bibliographical Notes on the Witchcraft Literature of Scotland" (Edinburgh, 1896-97) "is one of the best of the reprints of rare witchcraft tracts." (See Lea, note p.1331).
