This is the Robert the Bruce trilogy by Nigel Tranter. The Steps to the Empty Throne, 1969. The Path of the Hero King, 1970. The Price of the King's Peace, 1971. All three are true first edition hardback with dust-wrappers and are all published by Hodder & Stoughton.
All three books are in good condition - all the wrappers remain unclipped. The dust-wrapper to the Hero King has had a sellotape repair to the top front - otherwise the wrappers are good. All three books are in very good condition throughout. A good first edition of this popular scottish trilogy.
