Charles Scribner's Sons, 1941 - second edition complete with rare dust-wrapper. Illustrated by N C Wyeth. 503 pages plus one page of publishers adverts. Illustrated endpapers.
Dust-wrapper remains unclipped but has a crease running diagonally across the front panel (see picture above) - this is a small defect as finding this edition with a complete dust-wrapper is extremely hard - some light staining to the dust-wrapper but this is not bad. Boards and spine are good - front boards has a pasted illustration (same as shown on dust-wrapper). Pages are good throughout - binding is tight with no loose or missing pages - complete with 9 colour plates and coloured title page by N C Wyeth. A very good example in rare dust-wrapper.
