Charles Henry Chapman, known simply as C.H. Chapman, was the first artist to illustrate a comic of Frank Richards' creation 'Billy Bunter' in the late 1930s. He also illustrated many of the 'Bunter' books published by Cassell in the 1950s and 1960s.
Chapman then drew two page stories from the first issue of Knock-Out Comic magazine of 1939. Chapman didn't stay long on the comic, since his style was more suitable for illustration and cartoon work.
Chapman died in 1972.
