Another short-lived Reading Scheme series designed for children
from an Afro-Carribean background - not related to the Key
Words Reading Scheme that Ladybird produced in the 1960s and
not nearly as popular - however these books do offer the young
readers an engaging experience through the use of good imagery
and simple text.
It was originally thought that there were six book published
in this series before, and inclusive of 1980 but after querying
Copac it turns out that only four were published with a further
2 titles being added to the series in 1982.
