series was to cover the entire history of England from earliest
times to the present day, but again this series was ditched
after two titles.
Richard Bowood make a good start to the series and as author
of 20 scientific and natural subject book for the Ladybird
he clearly enjoyed his work and always delivered a good, well-researched
text.
