Ladybird series 584
Recognition
6 titles published between 1940 - 1980

This was another small but popular series, especially with boys, as it examined different types of transport - strangely enough ‘A Ladybird Book of Flags’ was given a place in this series.

The hard titles to find in this series are Commercial Vehicles and Merchant Ship’ – All of these books are not just collected by Ladybird collectors but are also snatched up by railway, car, aircraft and boat enthusiasts.
