Ladybird
There was only one title published in Ladybird series 538
which was entitled The Impatient Horse. This is a true collectors
item to any Ladybird enthusiast with first editions swapping
hands for £100+.
Why Ladybird discontinued this series right away is unclear.
With it's title it would appear appropriate that this book
would have been more suited to series
497 (Animal Stories).
