Synopsis

This little book really does bring the 'green pastures' into the nursery of those dull days when, because it is raining or cold, it is horrid out of doors.

The beauty of the colour illustrations, and the short stories by one whose voice is so familiar to young radio listeners, will be a constant source of joy to children everywhere.

Opening text

Jingle and Jangle are great friends. Each dog has a small silver bell on his collar, and these jingle-jangle as they run.
