database is a unique, web-based resource for all to use, free
of charge.
Our database catalogues worldwide authors and illustrators that
we find through our ongoing research.
We currently have over 1300
authors and illustrators, from all over the world, entered into
our database. We add new entries every day and have no intention
of stopping!
We add anyone we can find who has written or illustrated a book
- it doesn't matter if they have written one book or a thousand
books, we still enter them. And neither do we care if the book
was privately published, had a small print run or was unsuccessful.
Our intention is to offer visitors the opportunity to source
detailed and visual information on any author and illustrator
along with any of their books.

possible info on each author & illustrator includes:
Their nationality
Their full date of birth and death
Their town / city / area of birth
Schools / colleges / universities attended
Short biography
List of titles published
Each
title by an author or illustrator, where possible, displays:

Information regarding identifying the first edition
